Anticorrosive and mechanical protection for the internal weld area on pipelines undergoing directional drilling. It is a flexible system that allows the application of various internal coatings, extending the use of the internal metallic sleeve to gas pipelines, produced water, crude oil, and more.
ALLTER IWS™ is applied to the pipe end before connecting the other end for welding; it is reinforced with an anticorrosive adhesive resin for better grip.
The second pipe section is positioned and fitted the same way, and the off-center pins are then cut to carry out the welding process. The heat from the process does not affect it and protects the coating.
